After the enchanting Château de Messilhac, this trail takes you to Raulhac, a small village with typical Carladès architecture. A varied route between valleys and plateaus to discover the many treasures of the Carladès.
From the village square in Cros de Ronesque, turn left onto the RD459. At the bend in the road, take the small path on the right as far as the Montamat road. After the hamlet, follow the winding road down to the Goul.
Cross the Goul, cross a meadow and climb up to Château de Messilhac. You'll have an amazing view of the castle. Follow the path to the Borie Grande farm, then to the village of Combourieu.
Cross the main road and the path takes you to Raulhac. You'll pass by the Statue de la Vierge, where a short pause is welcome to enjoy the view. Enter the village of Raulhac and take the 2nd lane on the left. Go down to the end of the village, where you'll find another magnificent view.
Continue down the path to the Goul, cross the river and climb back up to the road, passing through the hamlet of Albospeyre.
Cross the main road and follow the signs for "Le Volcamp". After the farm buildings and dwellings, take the track and follow it to the RD59. Then turn right to return to Cros de Ronesque.Marking : Marked in greenEquipments : Car park, Admission fee : Free access.Opening : All year round daily.
