Start from Place de l'Eglise in St Clément. Reach the Monument aux Morts and turn left on the road to the Laborie farm. Take the path that crosses the farm and bends right to descend into a meadow (where there may be herds, and tall grass in spring before mowing). This path joins a small road on the left.
A little further on, pass a chicane; a small path leads you to a stream, which you can cross by means of a footbridge; the path then climbs back up to La Roque (starting point of the short walk signposted in blue "Autour de Laroque").
At Laroque, turn left up the road, then a little further up a path on your right. Continue along this path, which leads to a road that you must follow for a few metres; then take a new path on your left; this leads to a house; turn right to go down to the road; follow it by turning left onto the road that leads to La Roussière.
At La Roussière, take the wide gravel track on the left, which climbs up through a beautiful beech forest to reach the "plateau", offering a fine view of the Goul valley and part of the Monts du Cantal.
This track joins the hamlet of Goulaize. Follow the road back to the starting point.
